Google Pixel 3 Owners are Still Facing Device Control Problems

It is without a doubt that the all-new Google’s Pixel smartphones are one of the most genuine devices available in the smartphone market. It’s because Google has a lot to offer to its audience and bring a whole lot of new things to the Android table. When it comes to functionality, camera, and other software features, the new Google Pixel 3 is hands down expected to be one of the best smart devices.

However, since the time of its release many people have published different reviews about the phone. It seems like there are some minor quirks and problems with the all-new Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL.

Apparently, since the time of its launch, Google has still not considered fixing these problems.

Things Aren’t Looking Good for Google in the Smartphone Industry

We also learned that Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are in league with some of the major tech giants in the smartphone industry. And at a price worth $800 – $900, this phone is considered free of big problems.

It is meant to compete with large devices such as famous brands like Samsung, Apple or Huawei.

However, these problems which are occurring in the new Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL is leaving a great dent in its original sales value. It is indeed grave news to compete with the major market.

By studying recent reports, we have assembled some setbacks in the Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL smartphones.

The Camera App on Google Pixel 3 is Slow

Hate to break it, but the slow camera app on Google Pixel 3 is by far one of the biggest complains in the Google Pixel 3 complain history. Although, the image quality the camera delivers is indeed one of the excellent results with detailed sharpness, killer HDR and extra lens coverage. However, it is the speed with which the click takes place and general phone reliability which has become the problem.

Users have complained that they are facing issues when accessing the camera app and even when they are taking the picture using the Google Pixel 3 and the Google Pixel 3 XL phones. It can take as much as a few seconds to load up the camera app for the users. And at times, it can even take much longer to take a single shot using the Google Pixel 3 or the Google Pixel 3 XL phone respectively.

According to a Reddit Pixel report, it almost took 12 seconds for the app just to fully load up to use.

The Google Pixel 3 Has Poor Memory Management

It was totally unexpected when we learned that the new Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL phone has poor memory management issues. Reviewers have explained how these new phones are incapable of handling 4GB of RAM. Such issues are mostly followed with app restarting and closing.

Google has previously tried improving these issues by launching a number of patches, but if one thing is clear… these phones don’t have enough updates with which they can work flawlessly for all apps.

By comparing the new Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL phones with the Galaxy S10e, and reading multiple published articles on their comparison, I have reached to the conclusion that the new Google Pixel phone has issues that the S10e doesn’t. For example, using the Feedly app for articles never had an issue with the S10e. But, when the same app is accessed on Google Pixel 3 XL, it often resulted in app restart. As a result, all my previous progress in the stream gets lost leaving me to start all over.

Apparently, the most recent April security update has made the issue a whole lot worse for the users.

The Google Pixel 3 has Different Bluetooth Problems

Bluetooth has been a common issue which has relatively stayed along with all the three generations of the Google Pixel phones. It is known that the Bluetooth performance has never been considered reliable on any of the following devices as it is considered on other Android phones such as Samsung.

Just visit any customer forum on Reddit and Google, you will find multiple reports on bluetooth performance issues that the new Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL phones are observing.

One of the user complained that he was unable to listen to songs using his bluetooth headset unless he isn’t in a quiet room. He was facing issues connecting his bluetooth devices with the phone when he found himself surrounded with traffic, near TVs or while driving on a busy road. He reported that the volume output for the bluetooth was very poor for the all new Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phone.

In fact, phones connected via bluetooth had better sound quality at 60% volume compared to Google Pixel 3 smartphones with a maxed out volume.

The Fast Wireless Charging Feature Does Not Work

Since the time of its launch, the fast wireless feature of the phone has been giving problems to users. It happened because the Pixel company quitely implemented its own fast charging feature. In one of his tweets Artem Russakovskii recently highlighted that the Pixel 3 has been charging slowly on Stand. Similarly, many other Reddit reports have also revealed this problem as a major concern.

The Google Pixel 3 has a Speakerphone Glitch

Recently, a new issue has surfaced introducing a bug with the speakerphone feature on the device. This issue usually occurs when someone calls you up and you are using a Google Pixel 3 phone. When you receive the call and you switch the call to speakerphone immediately, then there is a brief moment when the other person can’t hear you for a few seconds. It’s a very odd issue which Google should fix in its next software update.

In the End…

No smartphone has come to this world as a completely flawless technology. But, with the new Google Pixel series, it looks like these guys are getting the most basic things wrong. And apparently, they are not heeding much of an attention to fix these issues once and for all. It shows that even though the manufacturing of the phone is outstanding, the quality assurance aspects still have a potential gap.

In fact, instead of getting better, updates are just making the situation worst for the Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL smartphones.
